British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst Intern in Monterrey.

The role is responsible for:

  • Supporting and supervising the Digital team with all the projects in LANCAR.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract valuable insights.
  • Develop and maintain data analytics processes to support business objectives as well as interactive Power BI dashboards to provide timely and insightful data visualizations.
  • Build and present reports and visualizations to communicate findings optimally.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable recommendations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implement data cleaning and validation procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Apply statistical techniques and tools to identify trends and patterns in data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns and correlations.
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies for improved decision-making.
  • Support in the creation and presentation of relevant information related to the projects of the Digital Commerce Team.
  • Attend weekly meetings and follow up on open items.
  • Daily update of our Dashboards.
  • Creation and Maintenance of Power BI Dashboards.

What are we looking for?

  • Advanced English level.
  • Student of Marketing, Data Science, IT.
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Microsoft).
  • Power BI.
  • Teamwork.
  • Data Analysis.
  • Analytical Decision Making and Creative problem-solving.
  • SQL (desirable).
