_**Job Summary**:_- **Responsibilities**:_- _Prepare and analyze Chart of Accounts for multiple businesses._- _Demonstrate extensive knowledge in QuickBooks for data migration from banks and other software in QuickBooks_- _Prepare and Post Journal Entries._- _Prepare and analyze account reconciliations._- _Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses by cost center._- _Analyze total corporate expenses, including comparisons to forecasted results and trended results._- _Invoice other related entity locations for intercompany charges._- _Correspond with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting for purchases and expenses._- _Ad Hoc analyses as needed._- _Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses and be adept at explaining results_- _Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology._- _Maintain the Payroll Schedule for a few entities and work within their respective deadlines._- _Understand and execute any Labor Laws related to Payroll._- _Gather and correct data related to items such as Salaries, Hours, Commissions and PTO to ensure accuracy for the Payroll Processor._- _Assist with the company’s Accounts Payable Schedules, Transactions and Reconciliations._- _Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department._- _Prepare correspondence as needed within the department._- _Assist the Payroll Administrator with resolving any employee-related payroll questions or issues._- _Assist the Sr. Accountant in tracking and maintaining company insurance policies (except Employee Benefits, which the HR Department maintains)._- _Assist the Sr. Accountant with facility support and security issues._- _Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time, quite often on short notice, by the Sr. Accountant._- _Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs._- _Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts._- _Maintain or examine the records of government agencies._- _Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards._- _Review expenses and sales tax to ensure compliance with regulations._- _Provide insights into financial performance to support strategic planning._- _Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts._- _Maintain accurate financial records and documentation._- _Tracking and maintaining company due dates for payments._- _Prepare financials for reporting to Management, Banks and Tax authorities._- _Other duties assigned._- **Experience & Skills**:_- _Fluent English Level Required (Interview will be in English)_- _Proven experience as a Staff / Jr. Accountant or in a similar role within a finance department._- _Accounting experience in multiple businesses._- _Strong knowledge of governmental accounting practices is preferred._- _Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks._- _Familiarity with financial and auditing processes and standards._- _Excellent financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data._- _Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy._- _Able to manage teams._- _A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting is required._- **Education**_:_- _Bachelor's degree in accounting required._- _Professional CPA Certification preferred._- _Knowledge of Microsoft Excel with formulae for big data._- **Compensation**:_- $40,000 Pesos Monthly_- Position Fully on Site (Tijuana Branch Office)_- Full Shift Position_Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Opción a contrato indefinido- Seguro de vidaLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
