SOC- Cybersecurity Event Triage Analyst (LATAM Remote) Join us to apply for the SOC- Cybersecurity Event Triage Analyst (LATAM Remote) role at Baker Hughes . SEND RESUME ONLY IN ENGLISH. Responsibilities Actively monitor and analyze cybersecurity events from various sources, identifying potential security incidents and trends. Play a key role in the incident response process, focusing on analysis and interpretation of threat data to guide response actions. Leverage threat intelligence to enhance the understanding of potential security threats and inform the organization's cybersecurity posture. Prepare clear and detailed reports on security findings and trends, communicating effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in cybersecurity event analysis and reporting. Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance analysis capabilities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills in cybersecurity, in-depth knowledge of Cloud security concepts, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and experience with responding to complex incidents. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH, or similar are advantageous. Experience: SOC experience focused on security event analysis and incident response. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time Flexibility: Ability to work non‑traditional hours. English fluency. Preferred Qualifications Analytical mindset and keen interest in interpreting complex cybersecurity data. Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a team. Strategic perspective for broader cybersecurity strategy. Adaptability and resilience under dynamic threat landscape and high‑severity incidents. Attention to detail in event analysis and documentation. Proactive learning and up‑to‑date with latest cybersecurity developments.
