Purpose Statement: The Mgr - Site IT position will focus on the optimization of site IT resources to insure Plexus sites' IT infrastructure operate in a consistent manner while taking into account the unique needs of the corporate, engineering and manufacturing sites. To insure consistent processes, procedures and technologies are leveraged throughout Plexus’ facilities. The Mgr - Site IT will also work closely with the Sr. Manager - Site IT - Regional to insure the site IT technologies are positioned in support of the overall Plexus technology solutions and direction. This position will also work closely with their counterparts regionally to insure global consistency.Key Job Accountabilities:- LEADERSHIP: Provide leadership and direction to Manufacturing and Engineering site IT resources to insure the site technical goals and delivery align with overall Plexus goals and service delivery.- SERVICE DELIVERY: Ensure consistent delivery of IT services to the site in cooperation with the global IT organization and resources.- ORGANIZATION: Lead and build a cohesive Site IT team fostering close professional relationships with corporate, other sites and global IT team. This position also needs to work closely with site leadership to insure there are open lines of communications and trust. Foster intra site communication and build a sense of community within the IT site resources.- STRATEGY: Develop and implement site IT strategies that align from site to site and with the corporate objectives and strategy. Working closely with site IT and business leaders to insure they understand and align with these strategies.- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Identify opportunities to improve overall IT and business processes to enable site and global IT teams to deliver better and more timely solutions.Additional Accountabilities:- Remain abreast of current and future IT trends and strategies that align with the objectives and strategies of the business- Establish and maintain relationships with key hardware and software vendors- Work with other regional IT leaders to insure the Fox Cities Site IT team is aligned with and leverages learnings and capabilities from other regions- Respond to work challenges quickly and confidently with an ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.- Development and maintain roadmaps for key Desktop, Engineering tools and site required technologies. These roadmaps should also align to the corporate roadmaps and strategies.- Establish periodic reviews with site business leaders to insure needs of the sites are being met by site IT resources.- Have a global perspective of the impact of site IT-Infrastructure strategies and services across the business. Seek global principles to guide and define site IT-Infrastructure strategies and services.- Generate, communicate, and execute new ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Global IT-Infrastructure services for Plexus.- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.
