**Location**:Nuevo Laredo, MX, 88285**Business Unit**:Energy Conversion Solutions**Posting Date**:Aug 7, 2025- Job Summary:- The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating production activities in the electronics manufacturing area, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of electronic assembly processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.- Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations on the production floor, including SMT, manual assembly, testing, and packaging.- Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards (IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, etc.).- Monitor and report on KPIs such as yield, throughput, scrap, and downtime.- Lead and develop production teams through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve technical issues.- Ensure compliance with ESD controls, safety regulations, and company policies.- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.- Maintain accurate production records and documentation in ERP/MES systems.- Preferred Skills & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (preferred).- 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, including SMT and PCBA processes.- Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001).- Experience with testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and production planning tools.- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.- Work Conditions:- Full-time position; may require rotating shifts or weekend coverage.
