**Why join Aptiv?****YOUR ROLE**As Manufacturing Engineering Lead on our team, you will: As Leader of Manufacturing Engineering, you are responsible for the industrialization of new manufacturing-, assembly-, and End of Line Processes in IAS Saltillo. You plan, coordinate and follow up the industrialization activities in collaboration and alignment with global IAS Standards and in compliance of Aptiv / Centec Standards for equipment’s. You also have a good knowledge of Program Management and understand the requirements of applied Quality, e.g. FMEA, Control plan and Production Excellence e.g. Takt Time in new product- and process industrialization, including ramp-up phases.**In your daily job you will**:- Prepare and own the Industrialization Plan for new equipment installation- Oversee compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring that legal requirements and company policies are always met in industrialization- Ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes while meeting quality, quantity, and timeline requirements for internal and external customers- Understand details of manufacturing-, assembly- and End of Line processes to the extent to complete industrialization for successful production Run Rate- For those processes you do not have full expertise, be advisor to identify the right skill set and onboarding of experts- Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, CIP (Continuous Improvement Process), and PDCA methodologies to increase productivity and reduce waste- Planning of Capacity & Demand to assess capacity utilization for Actual- and Budget Demand. Propose to Global ME and Global IE the industrial solutions to overcome gaps- Actively contributes to the site’s leadership team by collaborating across functions (e.g. Quality, Engineering, HR, Supply Chain) to drive operational performance- Safeguard sensitive data and ensure responsible handling of company assets, facilities, and equipment, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.**YOUR BACKGROUND**Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:- Engineering degree- Several years of experience in automotive manufacturing engineering- Strong knowledge of industrialization of manufacturing, assembly- and End of Line processes- Familiarity with new product launch requirements for industrialization- Fluent in English- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)**WHY JOIN US?**- **You can grow at Aptiv.**Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where all individuals can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity or beliefs.- **You can have an impact**.
