We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.Responsibilities- Follow engineering CAD/CAE tools & methods defined by the department.- Create and follow DFMEA design flowchart per department requirement.- Review customer specification and make Electrical schematics based on the information provided.- Make proposals regarding Hardware design and system architecture based on Engineering Judgment.- Develop/Design/Validate hardware prototypes according to project milestones.- Validation of hardware designs through bench testing, and system integration.- Support product validation and manufacturing evaluation tests during the early phases of the project life cycle.- Provide assistance to the PCB layout engineers to ensure proper placement of components.- Complete assigned tasks in compliance with established processes and procedures or provide feedback to improve them.Qualifications - ExternalBachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronic, or Computer Engineering.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in designing and building electrical prototypesFamiliarity with high voltage systems (>200V)Knowledge of PCB designExperience with electronics packaging technologiesGood understanding of electronic circuitsBasic knowledge of EMC/ESD principlesProgramming experience in any language (preferably Python)**Job**:R&D Engineer**Organization**:Site R&D**Schedule**:Full time**Employee Status**:Regular**Job Type**:Permanent contract**Job Posting Date**:- Join Us _- Being part of our team, you will join: _- _one of the largest global innovative companies, with more than 20,000 engineers working in Research & Development _- _a multi-cultural environment that values diversity and international collaboration _- _more than 100,000 colleagues in 31 countries... which make a lot of opportunity for career growth _- _a business highly committed to limiting the environmental impact if its activities and ranked by Corporate Knights as the number one company in the automotive sector in terms of sustainable development _
