Windows VMware AWS- Provision and manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, and VPC configurations.- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Ansible or Terraform.- Implement deployment strategies for zero-downtime releases.- Ensure consistency and reliability across environments.- Create alerting mechanisms to respond to issues promptly.- Lead the design and administration of Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.- Set up monitoring systems for Windows, VMware, and AWS resources to proactively detect and resolve issues.- Implement security best practices and controls, such as IAM policies, encryption, and access management.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical data and services.- Test and document disaster recovery procedures.- Write scripts and automation code (e.g., Python, Java, Shell) to simplify operational tasks and optimize processes.- Leverage AWS Lambda for serverless automation.- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.- Manage escalations and work towards to resolution.- Top Skills:- Strong AWS DevOps knowledge and proficiency in cloud services.Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.- Solid skills in Linux/Unix, containerization, and orchestration.- Familiarity with automation tools and monitoring/logging systems.- Practical experience, relevant certifications, and a commitment to continuous learning.- AWS Certifications will be an added advantage.- Deep expertise in Windows server administration and virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere.- Understanding of hybrid cloud environments, including multi-cloud strategies.- Ability to create and communicate a clear vision for the team's goals and projects.- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows, VMware, and cloud infrastructure.***- **Must Have**:- AWS CloudFormation, Ansible or Terraform- Jira, ServiceNow, Github, Jfrog- Puppet, Python, Java, Shell- Windows Server Administation, VMware Virtualization and AWS Public Cloud- Cisco UCS Server InfrastructureIf this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
