Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires:**Data Architect****Job description**:- Assist in the creation of Policy, Process, and Procedures relating to data governance._**Job Functions**_- Supports efforts to achieve architecture compliance and government regulations. Standardizes processes and technology related to area of expertise.- Documents all data architecture design and analysis work in accordance with corporate standards.- Conducts the development of logical and physical data models and compliance to all data architecture standards, naming conventions, and EA governance.- Ensures overall solution-level integrity of data within the context of existing architecture and standards.- Acts in an advisory role on complex projects, and ensures projects maintain an enterprise-wide view of data and context.- Assist in defining and creating data models, schemas, data dictionaries, and Master Data Repositories- Data architecture planning for multiple projects.- Database technologies are Oracle and Postgres- The DA is responsible for ERWIN diagram writing and DDL writing to create/modify database schemas in our existing environments- They will use internal data architecture standards and have their work reviewed and approved by our internal domain data architects, before passing it on to our Database Administrators for script execution- The DA will assist the project teams in test planning and execution by helping provide data samples and data mapping knowledge when needed_**Skills and Abilities**_- Ability to recommend data architecture accomplishing long-range objectives within area of expertise and sphere of influence while simultaneously balancing functional requirements, business demand and budget constraints.- Ability to perform requirements analysis for IT systems, provide input to business case development and validate data requirements for IT systems.- Ability to develop Policy, Procedures, and Processes as it relates to Data Governance.- Strong understanding of MDM (Master Data Management)- Senior level understanding and practical usage of Informatica tools such as Axon and EDC)- **Technologies and Competencies Experience**_- Relational database experience in Hive, Oracle, SQL Server, UDB and/or Mainframe Databases (ADABAS, IMS, DB2)- Emergent/contemporary data technologies including cloud/hybrid/big data/unstructured/open source data tools- Logical and physical data modeling with a data modeling tool (ex.
