**Job description**We are seeking a Junior Cost Controller to undertake all financial management matters, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and development of internal control policies and procedures.**Responsibilities**- Coordinating and guiding budget and financial forecast preparation and reporting discrepancies- Timely preparation and publication of monthly financial statements- Coordination of preparation of regulatory reports- Investigation of technical accounting issues for compliance- Support monthly and yearly closings- Ensuring the quality control of financial transactions and financial information- Manage and comply with local, state and federal reporting and tax return filings- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls- Additional CPA duties as needed**Requirements**:- 1-3 years of combined accounting and finance experience- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures- Experience in creating financial statements- Experience in general ledger functions and month / year end closing process- Excellent use of accounting software and management skills- Experience in MS Office- Very good command of the English language (verbal & written).
