Under the direction of the USCRI Mexico Programs Coordinator, this position is responsible to supervise the implementation of the U.S. Mexico Border Program, build and maintain alliances with higher education institutions, ensure the coordination and training on migration issues to key parties, giving legal advice and representation to people in situations of mobility, with the mission to ensure the protection of migrants rights and safe migration in the border area between Mexico and the United States.**MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES**- Coordinate activities and objectives of each project within U.S. Mexico Border Program.- Establish and maintain coordination with municipal, state, federal government levels, and U.S. authorities to carry out actions and projects that facilitate and promote regular and orderly migration.- Maintain good communication with all program partners, program management, and other members of the organization.- Supervise the implementation of the university mobilization program ensuring its cyclical operation.- Provide legal support and advice to all areas of the organization.- Supervise legal defense and representation of U.S.M.B.P. beneficiaries.- Coordinate litigation and representation in legal matters.- Monitor the situation of the migrant and refugee community in shelters.- Coordinate inter-institutional visits. - Supervise the development and publication of the "USCRI newsletter".- Develop regular activity and achievement reports according to the organization's guidelines and templates.- Supervise compliance with human resources manual provisions, internal regulations, and administrative procedures.- Perform all other tasks necessary for the fulfillment of duties.- Supervise the proper implementation of training programs in migration matters.- Be responsible for coordinating the U.S.M.B.P. team to keep them motivated, trained, monitor their activities and individual situations while maintaining a favorable working environment.
