Client: Our client is a Los Angeles-based telecom company that provides Internet services to both businesses and individuals. They offer a variety of digital products, including games, books, software, and other online content. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for experienced engineers to strengthen its core development team.- Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Python.- Design APIs and data flows to support e-commerce functionality.- Implement and optimize e-commerce UI patterns (checkout, cart, subscriptions).- Contribute to frontend development using jQuery/Backbone.js/Marionette.- Configure and optimize Webpack builds (loaders, plugins, code splitting).- Maintain asset pipelines with Grunt.- Ensure cross-browser compatibility (including IE support).- Collaborate closely with DevOps, frontend engineers, and product teams.- 5+ years of professional experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).- Strong knowledge of jQuery/Backbone.js/Marionette in production environments.- Deep expertise with Webpack configuration.- Hands-on experience with Grunt task automation.- Solid debugging skills and cross-browser troubleshooting experience.- Familiarity with e-commerce UI/UX patterns (checkout, cart, subscriptions).- Nice to have: TypeScript experience.- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
