NES Fircroft | Chief Inspector

Job Description:

A major oil and gas operator is seeking 2-3 utility inspectors with a background in either facility inspection or construction. The role involves data collection from production facilities and will be primarily field-based, necessitating travel to several locations daily across a wide geographical area. Office work will be minimal.

The ideal candidates should have:

• Experience in facility construction and/or inspection
• Knowledge of process piping and flow
• Proficiency in computer use, including Excel, Visio, Adobe, and tasks such as uploading pictures and scanning documents
• The ability to demonstrate systematic and meticulous task execution
• Skills to draw ISOs, interpret P&IDs, and read small print
• The physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods, work in diverse weather conditions, navigate over piping, and climb stairs
• Ownership of a reliable vehicle
• A cell phone equipped with a functional camera for taking pictures, emailing, and texting
