Job Overview Electrical Engineer Role Description Job Description : Main Responsibilities As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will lead the development of comprehensive designs for engineering projects. Responsibilities Your expertise in reading and understanding written specifications, contract drawings, and developing complete designs within electrical design standards and project quotations is essential. You will analyze engineering schematics, specifications, and related data to determine design factors while ensuring all designs comply with engineering specs, company standards, and customer contract requirements. This includes producing accurate and thoroughly self-verified electrical and panel layouts, motor control I / O schematics, and bill of materials. You are also responsible for providing project support to field engineers, purchasing, and panel fabricators; (evaluating / approving) design changes / specifications / drawing releases; using computer-assisted equipment / software for development&(communicating task completion status / project team). The role involves designing detailed layouts for electrical circuits / power distribution systems / industrial control panels / network architectures (interfacing extensively with customers / installation / commissioning / design modifications). Qualifications Skills / Knowledge required include proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / experience controls engineering / HMI / design / plc programming / electrical safety standards(UL508A / NFPA / ecological knowledge etc.). The preferred candidate holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent(in a relevant area) / min 5 years experience. Extensive knowledge of concepts / practices / procedures as related to design.
