The fundamentals of the objectives of the DevOps Engineer role are to implement and troubleshoot with - Robust solutions for both CI and CD tools to provide maximum throughput of evolving software, driven by broad holistic solution integration mindset - Hands on scripting implementation work, following established patterns of implementation - Operational interaction with the DevOps customer, the developer/software engineer ensuring the developer experience within the CI CD tooling is expedient and efficient o Especially focused on triage activities to guide the customer / the product team engineers through troubleshooting activities of build, kit, deploy, and test. Responsibilities - Triage and troubleshooting of: o Build & Package o Install, Deploy, & Data load Automation o Automated Testing (Unit & Functional) - Hands on implementation of CI/CD tools - Agile Scrum Iteration Planning - Crisis Mitigation and real time problem solving - Daily software developer interaction, supporting the individual needs Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Skills Required:- DevOps, Jenkins, any scripting languages, CI/CD pipeline handling Required Knowledge/Skills -Experience with CI/CD frameworks, tools, techniques and integrations -Programming experience with Perl/Python, -Experience with designing highly reliable CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins/Gitlab -Exposure to Teamcenter, Activeworkspace -Experience with some of the following technologies / tools : Jenkins, Git,Github, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, -Tomcat, Apache HTTP, Kubernetes / EKS, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Nagios, New Relic, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Bash, PHP, Symfony, -Experience with deploying, configuring, monitoring and supporting Linux systems General Skills - Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment - Good communication (written, Oral) and stakeholder management skills - Perform analysis of DevOps practices, identify gaps and impediments for continuous integration and delivery - Willingness to work as part of an agile team, and in close collaboration with Quality, Release and Product teams delivering continuous improvements in customer outcomes - Proactive, emphatic and approachable. - Team player and problem solver. - Communication and collaboration skills with peers and cross functional teams with attention to detail Educational background: Bachelor degree in Computer Science and/or related field of study Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field - 1-2 years of job experience in software development or related role - Demonstrated systems/solution orientation (breadth vs depth) - Demonstrated Analytical skills - Familiarity with Analytical tools including Business Intelligence, Data warehousing - Proficient use of advanced Microsoft Excel analytical techniques - Demonstrated understanding of Software Development Agile methods and practices (e.g. SAFe) - Demonstrated understanding of DevOps tooling related to CI/CD software factory operations (e.g. Jenkins, Electric Flow, Git) o Administer and monitor existing automation infrastructure, both hardware and software o Undergo root cause analysis of failures and address the underlying issues by enhancing scripts and utilities - Collaborate with local and global teams to perform job functions to help ensure the high-quality of Teamcenter releases - Works with general supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment**Organization**: Digital Industries**Company**: Siemens Industry Software, S.A. de C.V.**Experience Level**: Experienced Professional**Job Type**: Full-time
