Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:Lead a function focused on the optimization of the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in close cooperation with Production management and Research and Development (R&D). In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.**This position reports to**:Manufacturing Unit Manager**Your responsibilities**:- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.**Your background**:- Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering.- Master's degree in manufacturing processes (plus).- 7 years as work experience in similar positions.- Knowledge of continuous improvement and technical knowledge in steel and copper fabrication processes.- Belt plus certifications.- Experience leading blue and white collar work groups.- Availability to travel.- Advanced English level.**More about us**:
