:In Charge of the accounting activities/department in NL. The responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting- 5+ years of accounting experience required- Advanced knowledge of Excel- Strong financial analysis skills- Ability to train and manage staff.Bilingual, English & Spanish**REPORTS TO**:Finance Manager**SUSUPERVISES** : 1 staff accountant**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION**:- Support month end close processes including maintaining general ledger accounts, account reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.- Perform financial statement analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation.- Work effectively with the entire accounting department to ensure processes operate efficiently and implement improvements when necessary.- Perform Account payables functions
