Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.**Position Purpose**:This position exists to: Provide reliable, accurate and systematic ways to guarantee to external and internal customers that accurate data is generated by the different equipment that are used to make quality decisions. Develop competence throughout the organization to qualify the product of SJO.The Quality Supervisor is responsible to deploy the Strategic Quality Plan at the shop-floor level in conjunction with the Quality Manager and provide overall quality leadership to the organization.The Quality Supervisor is responsible for the tooling area, its processes, and personnel and is responsible for the testing laboratory.**Main Responsibilities**:Manage the Quality strategy to facilitate continuous production, consistent with established World class industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements.Ensure a strong and committed culture of quality throughout the organization.Manage, train and coach quality inspectors that support the test lab operation, process audits and incoming inspection activities.Manage, train and coach tooling operators that support the tooling processes (tooling assembly, tooling inspection, tooling inventories, tooling setup carts, etc).Provides leadership, plans and strategies to ensure tooling availability for production and coordinates deviation requests as applicable.Coordinate and ensure calibration systems and maintenance of all measurement assets.Plan and execute cost reduction initiatives for calibration.Manages and supervises personnel who perform calibration activities.Analyzes quality performance, set goals for applicable quality metrics, and cascades to individual goals and development plans. Ensures alignment with the parent organization defined strategy. Performs managerial reviews to evaluate results and establishes action plans to close gaps.Read part drawings or models as needed, analyze GD&T and decide measurement requirements.Select optimal ways of measurement and ensure they are documented in the appropriate Control Plan.Ensure that all the equipment is calibrated, maintained, and performing to required standards.**Education / Experience**Required - Bachelor’s Science Degree with 5+ years’ of experience.Experience in a startup is preferred.Advanced knowledge in Core Tools.Advanced English.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
