**Already in Data Engineering?**:Our organization and the services we provide to our clients are becoming more and more data driven, therefore we are currently in need of a Data Engineer to join our Data & AI team in Kaunas. As Data Engineer you will collaborate with data scientists and data analysts, software development teams and architects on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery pipeline is consistent through ongoing projects. You must be comfortable supporting the data needs of different projects from different systems and products as well as join initiatives to optimize or even re-design Centric’s data architecture to support our next generation of products. Meaningful Data engineer requires close cooperation between the data scientists, data analysts and the domain experts, both in Centric and at our Client.**What you bring to the team**:- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant.- Thorough knowledge of data manipulation (Extract, Transform, Load) in large volumes (batch and stream).- Experience with database systems, data storage and engines for big data processing such as: SSIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Amazon AWS, RavenDB, Hadoop, Apache etc.- Basic knowledge of PowerShell.- Python programming language and libraries such as: Pandas, PySpark, Apache Airflow, Flask.- Bonus points for experience with Snowflake and Azure Data factory.**What we offer**:- Designing and operating scalable solutions/systems for processing, analysing and managing large amounts of variable data on hybrid cloud.- Collaborate with engineering departments, data scientists and data analysts to understand technical/integrity/security needs and advise on system solutions to build appropriate data pipelines.- Gathering, analysing data from internal and external sources and APIs to add value.- Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design.- Communicate sustainable technical solutions to stakeholders addressing the rationale behind.**De unit waar jij komt te werken**:We appreciate our committed employees and we complement that with a commitment of our own - our benefits package.
