Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.About the role:The Accounting department is responsible for organizing the financial and accounting affairs including the preparation of financial statements. This position is part of the accounting team and maintains direct communication with Treasury, Finance Shared Services, Collections, and other areas.As **Accounting intern**, you will be responsible of providing direct support to ensure financial disclosure of all activities related to Treasury Backoffice team. Additionally, you will help obtain information and create reports to comply with business requirements.What you need:- **Time Availability: 4-5 hours daily.**:- ** To be 1 year (or more) away from graduation.**:- Persuing bachelor’s degree on Accounting, Financial Administration, or related fields.- Ability to handle and work with big volumes of Data, general accounting knowledge, use of Microsoft Office products specially Excel.- Detail oriented, personal integrity and “can do” attitude.- English preferably.- Intermediate level in Office, Excel.What you will be doing:- Support diverse projects within Accounting Team.- Responsible for monitoring of the Treasury front office activities.- Reconcile daily collection of assets sold in each securitized program.- Support audit requirements.- Reconcile balances for GL restricted cash and borrowings.- Reconcile securitized financial statements.What we offer:At GM Financial we want you to be the most authentic version of yourself.
