Blades Technician

This could be your opportunity.****Responsabilities**:- The Blades team will be responsible for Special Tasks related with blades.- These responsibilities include but not limited to the following:* Support blades maintenance processes on site, including inspection, preventive and corrective activities* Collaborate with Blades Technology dept. on assessing the complexity of the repair and determining reparation processes.- Performing onsite repairs according to internal maintenance procedures.- Confirm process control and reporting from site.- Executing actions as directed by either written and/or verbal instructions.- Champion safety processes on site including providing recommendations management regarding safety issues.- Strong Customer facing skills with the acumen to identify complex inquiries in order to direct them to a customer relation engineer.- Demonstrates integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis.- Contribute to create a team working environment assisting and helping field mates to accomplish goals.- Proactively looks for improvement opportunities to job related processes and procedures and communicates through appropriate channels.- Ability to climb ladders 45-105 meters in height- Comfort working at heights over 100 meters.- Provide on-site training to technicians for basic repair.- Supervise the blade subcontractor teams when applicable.- Follow up and communicate material consumptions during the performed activities**Qualifications**:- Technical degree (engineering) preferred or equivalent years of highly technical experience.- 3+ years of experience in service/management of wind turbines- 2+ years of experience in blade repair. Computer Skills.- Basic English language proficiency for understanding documentation and basic communication.- Ability to demonstrate basic industrial safety practices.- Ability to work at heights and in adverse climatic conditions- Rope access training, Level 1 or Level 2 - Rope Access certification is preferred (IRATA or SPRAT)- Valid Driver's license**Competencies**:- Organizational skills for managing personnel and complex projects- Written and verbal communication skillsStrong multi-discipline knowledge including comfort with mechanical and electrical systemsBasic knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)- Strong level of self-motivation- Capable of working with remote team, away from management.**Inscripción hasta el 22/04**We offer a dynamic and international work environment.
