Materials Planner

We are hiring a **Materials**Planner**to ensure accurate and timely planning and forecasting of Designtex orders to establish and maintain an effective customer experience.**What You Will Be Doing**:- Use of MRP capabilities in Epicor through set parameters, minimums, and safeties- Review previous days orders to find potential impacts from large orders.- Understand product lead times and work within product capacity constraints- Review BTO every day - seek resolution to problems and issues as well as planning for those parts needing to be ordered as well as making decisions about what may be causing the BTO and pursuing those opportunities.- Monitor open order report daily and confirm dates for performance to customer expectation and Designtex promise date, keeping schedule to promise.- Monitor Smartsheet- Monitor future Steelcase orders for release at appropriate times- Learn planning philosophies as laid out by Manager/Director**Wellbeing Means so Much More than Benefits**:**We value our employees' well-being at Steelcase and offer several resources to support their health, work, and personal needs.**- ** Employee Assistance Program**, which provides immediate and confidential help 24/7 for any problem related to health, work, or personal life.
