The Data Analyst - Cash and Trade is an intermediate level role responsible to identify opportunities to improve existing processes, design, and implement efficient solutions in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The Data Analyst - Cash and Trade will be responsible for optimizing processes, building self-service tools (EUCs), and analyzing large datasets to drive efficiency in Cash And Trade Operations.**Responsibilities**:- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, design, and implement efficient solutions.- EUC Development: Design and develop self-service tool using excel (macros) and other relevent tools to empower end-users.- Extract, clean an analyze large data sets using databases to identify trends, patterns, and improvvement opportunities.- Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent- Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors- Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed- Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives**Qualifications**:- 1-2 years of data analysis experience in the financial sector.- **Advanced proficiency in Excel, incluiding macros and advanced functions (required)**:- Familiarity with project management methodologies.- Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations- ** Effective verbal and written skills in both English and Spanish (Intermediate level)****:- Effective communication and analytical skills.- Desirable qualifications: Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, etc.), experience working with relational databases (SQL, etc.).**Education**:- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
