Software Engineer Iii, Java and Kotlin Ecosystem

**Minimum qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.**Preferred qualifications**:- Experience with Android, iOS, Web, or Server development.- Experience building reusable, performant and reliable software.- Experience in one of library development, compilers, static analysis, programming languages, IDE plug-ins, or build systems.- Experience working in Open Source.- Interest in infrastructure, API design, or code health.About the jobGoogle's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The team focuses on enabling first-party flagship App developers to use Kotlin multi-platform to multiply their impact by sharing code across Android, iOS, Web, and Servers. The team provides internal Kotlin specific development, build, and review tools and develops core libraries such as testing, logging, and collections.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products.
