**Careers that Change Lives**A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Plans, directs, and implements all aspect for Medtronic engineering enterprise plastic injection molding projects for mold tooling replacements, refurbishments, supplier & manufacturing transfers, and new product development.- Develops and implements enterprise strategies for mold replacements and refurbishments that will drive burn down to business risks.- Communicate with Category Management and Engineering workforce to launch mold tooling replacement programs.- Owns all project lifecycle phases (launch, design, build and qualify) for mold tooling projects.- Organizes the coordination of activities with external molding and tooling suppliers to ensure timely delivery.- Manages a Capital Expense portfolio of mold tooling projects and monitors key performance indicators to ensure adequate use of capital.- Maintains all mold tooling project KPIs and documentation in Power Bi data base system.**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**- Bachelor’s degree required- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing highly technical programs in a global environment or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering projects in global environments.- Advanced English**Nice to Have**- Master’s degree in Business (MBA).- Project Management Certifications is a plus (PMP, SMC, CSM, DASM, PMI-ACP)- Proven leadership experience organizing and directing multiple teams, delegating tasks and responsibilities- Proficient communicator to engage technical discussions and achieve business requirements in global environments.- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish.- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.- Proven Project Management applicable methodologies and business acumen.- Solid knowledge with Mold Tooling design, secondary molding processes, packaging, CAD/CAM related to the plastic industry.- Proven experience with Injection Molding processes, including material resin selection, qualification, and commercialization of plastic molded components.**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
