We are looking for a confident Material Coordinator to facilitate the flow of work in Projects & Services business. This role will strategize and oversee activities related to confirming accuracy of orders and generate reports on work progress, completion dates, and production challenges. You will monitor aspects of processes such as purchasing, and order changing, and forward issues to Project Execution Team.- WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:In this position, you will get to:- Growing professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.- Collaborating with project management to prepare for project review meetings.- Mastering project schedules, construction timelines and contractual obligations.- Liaising with internal/external vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.- Facilitating flow of information between various departments and parties.- Meeting and collaborating with management to assess reliability of suppliers and vendors, and to identify solutions for ongoing problems.- Working proactively with internal/external vendors to identify Critical Points and support countermeasures to grant timely execution of orders with respect of quality requirements.- Following established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor degree Engineering, Supply Chain, or suitable equivalent.- 5+ years of work experience in a similar role.- Proficient understanding of materials and services procurement.- Excellent computer skills.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.- WE HAVE:_- A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day.- We are a $2.5 billion, high-performance electrical company with a dedicated team of 9,500+ people and trusted brands such as CADDY, ERICO, HOFFMAN, RAYCHEM, SCHROFF and TRACER.
