As a business analyst intern you will join one of our business intelligence, retail, or seller services teams. The role provides an opportunity to learn and understand Amazon business and processes, enhance analytical skills, and contribute to make significant business impact.As an intern, you will be matched to a manager and a mentor. In addition to assist on an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other interns throughout your internship. No matter the location of your internship, we give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting.Job Responsibilities include:- Working with operational, finance, retail and technical teams across the organization to identify opportunities, supporting the development of sound business cases and driving measurements of actions to continuously improve on the inputs and ultimately the outputs of the business- Working with large volumes and big data, in a highly complex businessWorking with business intelligence tools, accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and partnering with the business to learn to identify strategic opportunities**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.- Knowledge of SQL- Speak, write, and read fluently in English- Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:- Experience using SQL- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
