In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you as a Logistics Transportation Coordinator will be responsible to executing site related logistics for developing and improving costs and processes at Eagle Pass/Piedras Negras. Primary focus is on the performance of the transportation management activities related to the delivery of products to factories and customers, Familiar with U.S. and Mexican Import/Export regulations and knowledge of hazardous shipping regulations. Develops strong working relationships both internally and externally.About the job:- Coordinate the material flow in and out of the cross dock, ensuring the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments. Ensure completion of all required documentation that is not provided by Piedras Negras and maintain all data and related records to inbound and outbound shipments.- Oversees completion of pickup appointments, quoting hotshots, NFO and dedicated carriers upon request. Primary Littelfuse contact for carrier for providing proper transportation instructions.- Responsible for accurate and timely monitoring of shipments in transit and reporting back to the respective business units.- Audit On Time Service response of forwarders, including timely monitoring of shipments both inbound and outbound. Ensure that no delays occur on both inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor carrier daily in transit report to ensure on time receiving.- Customer pickups with traffic team, and warehouse receiving personnel to ensure correct carrier is used. Coordinate and support on Importations, receiving and traffic, ask for additional support to IMPORT/EXPORT or Compliance Team if necessary.- Service upgrades for late shipments as a result of border crossing delays, assistance on booking the pickups for suppliers who cannot book on their side. Rerouting of materials shipped incorrectly.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.About you:- At least 2 years of experience in any of these areas (Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping, Inventory Control).- WMS experience (desired).- Basic computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.- SAP experience required.- Two or more years of Supervisory experience.- Bilingual (Spanish-English).- Strong Communication skills, both written and oral, in both English and Spanish.LI-SPGLittelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.
