Arrow provides extraordinary value to customers and suppliers - the best technology companies in the world - and connects them through the company's industry-leading services.**Principal Accountabilities****Shift 2: 2:00 - 9:15 (Monday - Saturday)**- Responsible for the day-to-day functions of Logistics or Value Add department(s), ensuring goals are met or exceeded.- Supervise day to day operation of a single department (receiving, storing, picking, shipping, special handling) within the distribution/value add center consisting of non-exempt tactical personnel.- With specific direction from management and HR, participates in staffing, terminations, disciplinary counseling, performance management and development in conjunction with facility management. Typically will need to elevate complex issues.- Report and track department metrics, responding to internal customer inquiries. May need to elevate or work in conjunction with facility management to resolve complex issues.- Other duties as assigned.**Job Complexity**- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion- Receives guidance and oversight from manager- Typically does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised- Accountable for the results of small-sized routine support or production operations teams- Solves problems based on set policies and procedures- Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations**What We're Looking For**- Excellent verbal and written communication; must be fluent in English.- Previous experience as a people manager, really important ability to manage teams and soft skills involving to be a manager- Previous experience in a Warehouse environment.- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.- WMS system desirable**What's in It for You?**At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
