Infosec Engineer

**InfoSec Engineer**100% Remote role (México)Contractor (no benefits)**Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 NET - MXN****About the Role**We are seeking an InfoSec Engineer to strengthen our security operations and complianceprogram. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across IT, DevOps, and Engineering tokeep our systems secure, maintain audit readiness, and respond effectively to securityincidents.**Responsibilities**:- Manage identity and access controls (SSO, MFA, RBAC, IAM).- Monitor and respond to alerts from vulnerability scanners, SIEM, endpoint tools.- Support incident response, from triage to resolution and after-action reviews.- Conduct vendor risk reviews and assist with customer security questionnaires.- Drive SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness, including evidence collection.- Coordinate penetration tests and remediation follow-up.- Maintain and improve security governance policies, risk register, and incidentresponse plan.- Partner with engineering and IT to ensure compliance controls are implemented.**What We’re Looking For**:- 4-7 years of experience in information security, IT security, or related fields.- Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, and security frameworks (NIST, CIS).- Hands-on experience with IAM, vulnerability management, incident response.- Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint protection, and monitoring tools.- Experience with Okta, AWS, GitHub, Jira/Confluence, Google Workspace, Datadog.- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and business teams.- Exposure to compliance automation platforms (Drata, Vanta, Secureframe).- Experience in SaaS or cloud-native environments.- Previous audit participation or customer-facing security reviews.**Job Type**: ContractPay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month**Experience**:- Linux: 5 years (preferred)- Cybersecurity: 6 years (preferred)- Information security: 5 years (preferred)Work Location: Remote
