Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Buyer (direct)_ _located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._- This role involves_ working on coordinating activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment.What a typical day looks like:- _ Reviews requisitions and MRP output._- _ Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery._- _ Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase._- _ Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output._- _ Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories._- _ Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate._- _ Approves invoices for payment._- _ Expedites delivery of goods to users._- _ Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management._- _ May gather quotations, examine bids, negotiate contracts and make awards._- _ May plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle._- _ Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price._- _ Makes tactical buying decisions. Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar._- _ Conducts quarterly supplier reviews._- _ Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics._- _ Prepares and/or reviews bid requests and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority_.- _ Estimates values according to knowledge of market price._The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _ Previous experience working on purchase orders/ materials._- _ BA/BS degree_- _ Advanced English level_- _ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)_- _ Experience with ERP systems such as BAAN and SAP._- _ Experience with Kinaxis or similar supply chain planning tools_._What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.IS81Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
