This position provides Well Operations Plans, prepares Well Programs and is responsible for the day-to-day surveillance of well operations. Participates in risk assessment, forecasts and plans medium and long term needs to meet program requirements, and anticipates operational changes and needs. Participates in the creation of Approval for Expenditure (AFE) and performs cost control of operations. Performs engineering studies to solve recurring problems. Ensures proper communication within the project. Prepares End-of-Well reports and contributes to knowledge management processes. Required to perform a portion of these duties on the wellsite. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering, as well as 2+ years of well services experience. Drilling and Completions Engineer and/or Well Intervention and/or Well Supervisory experience preferred. A Well Control Certificate is required.**Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
