Join us.**JOB PURPOSE**:To perform various assignments designed to improve the facility, assist in supporting the manufacturing operation and resolve operational problems associated with equipment and facilities.**JOB DUTIES**:This is a staff assignment involved in the improvement of the facility (utilities, water, sewer, electrical, structural and hazardous material) and the coordination of the maintenance of various manufacturing equipment. Assignments will vary based on experience and will work independently or as part of a team to resolve problems.This assignment will be geared to systems integration of manufacturing equipment and the support services needed to maintain equipment and/or building operations.Analyzes and recommends current and future systems, procedures, training and equipment needs based upon understanding and communication with users.Determines acceptability of new equipment based on industrial equipment specifications and recommends modification or revision as necessary.Troubleshoots throughout the facility to determine the cause of failure, the lack of efficiency and the need for repair or improvement of systems or equipment.Resolves problems in design and recommends solutions to prevent recurrence of problem. Troubleshooting duties may be specific in nature based on area of expertise, but could include other disciplines.Coordinates development of a planned maintenance program and prepares documentation to support maintenance frequency and recurring problems. Investigates problems occurring in the shop that are maintenance related and recommends solutions to alleviate the problem.Determines legal requirements for hazardous wastes and air emissions and ensures that the facility is in compliance with state, federal and local laws and regulations.Determines building requirements for utilities, water, sewer and electrical systems. Assists in the design of these systems to reflect changes in building requirements due to new equipment and/or rearrangement.Manages outside contractors performing maintenance, repairs or changes to the facility or utility system.Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, hazardous materials and ergonomics in performing assigned duties.**Background / Experience**:This position is related to I&C Engineer but also attend other disciplines related with HT equipment.- University degree in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering related field.- Able to communicate in English- Requires a thorough knowledge of the planning system, manufacturing operations, facilities, methods and tooling required.- Analytical ability as well as communication skills is essential- TC-Checking- Instrument Calibration- Gas regulators and ratio regulators- O2 probes rebuild- Interlock testing for combustion train and quench equipment.- Furnace burner combustion adjustment- Temperature and Atmosphere controllers- PLC Allen Bradley, Family Logix 5000- Special Atmosphere gas composition, able to understand how a gas analyzer works and its calibration methods.- Management instruments certification- Understand process variables (Flow, Temperature, pressure, volume) and its engineering units.- Provide expertise necessary to calibrate and checking thermocuples used in various HT equipment and related equipment to ensure standards, methods, frecuency and limits of accuracy, checking measuring devices to ensure reproductibility and repeatability.- Provide the expertise necessary to rebuild O2 as per CAT standards wich provide necessary accuracy to have a Good quality pieces, also provide the expertise for endogenerators and FAM´s calibration.- Provide the expertise necessay to calibrate various types of instruments as, pressure, level and Flow, check burners emissions, good understanding of combustión systems and several engineering disciplines.- Provide training to other bussines units related with TC and instrumentation.- Assure all combustión system and quench presses interlock test are performed succesfully.- Good process understanding to propose improvement in quality and m
