Role Summary Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform key business questions at Pfizer. The team is diverse, including data science, engineering, market research, consulting, and more. As a Data Science Manager, you will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, collaborating closely with senior business stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and other Pfizer units to drive data‑driven decision making across the commercial organization. You will develop advanced analytic techniques, provide insights on performance and customer understanding to enable major decision‑making for the North America commercial organization, and demonstrate strong communication and consulting skills while working with and analyzing large datasets. Responsibilities Develop and implement sound, objective secondary data analysis on marketing and field force promotional effort to enable key marketing and sales initiatives. Determine key performance metrics and develop tracking assets to evaluate commercial initiatives. Solve unstructured business problems by designing and executing customized, high‑priority analytical projects using advanced techniques. Execute statistical and data mining techniques on large datasets to identify trends, facts, and opportunities. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to align analytics capabilities with broader business objectives, fostering collaboration and effective decision‑making. Be a hands‑on teammate who utilizes tools like R, Python, Tableau, Visual Basic, and Excel to conduct analysis and communicate results to business stakeholders. Basic Qualifications BA/BS plus 4–5 years of work experience as a data analyst and project lead for a diverse range of projects. Background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) majors with quantitative emphasis such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering. Fluent in English, written and verbal. Advanced proficiency in R, Python, Excel and analytics platforms. Experience applying statistics and data science techniques such as machine learning to solve real‑world analytical problems. Good communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences. Collaborative and results‑oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a quantitative field or quantitative MBA. Experience in the pharmaceutical commercial analytics industry and management consulting. Knowledge, insight, and understanding of the pharma health‑care space (IQVIA, Rx/Sales, etc.). Job Details Work location: Mexico City – must be able to work from the assigned Pfizer office 2–3 days per week, or as needed by the business.
