In this role you will be responsible for brand positioning of luxury resort brands as the pillars of luxury travel in the hospitality industry across social media. As regional social media manager you will be responsible for providing social media guidance for a select region of resorts, partnering with and leading current property social media managers and eConcierge, while championing brand level social media strategies, guidelines, and campaigns.**A successful Regional Social Media Manager - MexPac will**:- Guides resort social media managers and eConcierges, onboards and trains resort level new hires, leads regular monthly trainings to colleagues.- Approve all resort social media content calendars, strategies, and associated assets ensuring adherence to corporate standards.- Identify areas of opportunities for destination specific content through established and new partnerships- Provide monthly reporting on behalf of resorts without social media managers.- Provide quarterly assessment of all regional social media channels to senior manager, RVPs, DOS, and GMs- Manages and identifies social media influencer opportunities.- Coordinates with crisis communications team, monitoring social media when needed- Subject matter expert and point of contact for resort help on addressin and revolving issues with social accounts like Google My Business, TripAdvisor, Revinate, Facebook, Sprinklr, Instagram,- Leads implementation of social strategy, kickoff, and execution for new resorts- Primary point of contact for resort DOSs, RVPS, and ops teams**A successful Regional Social Media Manager - MexPac will have**:- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field- 5+ years of social media management experience, preferably in travel, hospitality or lifestyle industries. At least 2 years of supervisory experience- A demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and how they relate to a larger strategy or campaign- Demonstrated understanding of social media management tools such as Sprinklr, HootSuite, or Sprout Social- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Must be based in destination- Must be able to travel to all resorts with in designated region- A strong drive and sense of urgency, a self starter- A passion for social media, travel, tourism, or hospitalityAs North America’s only vertically integrated travel, hospitality and leisure management group, Apple Leisure Group is an industry innovator that combines the expertise of 14 leading brands.
