You may utilize this posting to upload your resume and information. To be the subject matter expert in the Backend process engineering. Define, develop and implement a manufacturing strategy for Electronics Backend processes such as Wave Solder, Selective Solder, Conformal Coating, Auto Insertion PTH Machines, Routers and depanelizer processes. Responsible to lead the manufacturing best practices in order to achieve the customer and product goals such as FPY, Scrap Rate and OEE for the different backend processes and machines. Responsible to implement a continuous improvement plan for Wave Solder process through the art of the possible and world class electronics manufacturing best practices. Lead the talent program for new Backend engineers and create a Continuous Performance Management plan to increase the engineers technical skills for such processes. Drive organizational changes aligned with the organization metrics and goals, using our shared values and competences, following the Art of the possible methodology in order to create a solid and self‑directed team to operate and improve. Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the success and impact of the manufacturing program across existing product portfolio and new product introduction. Responsible to create an AVL (Authorized Vendor List) for the best equipment in the industry based on the Art of the Possible and current product designs. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Create, define the overall engineering strategy for BackEnd Engineering which includes Quality Levels, OEE, Scrap, FPY. Define and create a system to implement the best manufacturing Back End processes. Drive SMT‑Backend Electronics process improvement events by creating a culture and setting up a journey for the operational Excellence according to the Electronics Industry. Coordinate, create and ensure the correct Quality and TPM systems, metrics and tools in all Backend Process. Create a roadmap for Backend process and measure each Focus Factory performance. Create and define the future of Electronics Assembly by identifying, selecting and optimizing the best equipment for SMT, Testing, Backend, create an AVL (authorized vendor list) for all electronics manufacturing processes. Work with NPI and Quality team to establish a strategic plan for short and long term Quality improvement programs and initiatives for Electronics Manufacturing. Leads the Electronics DFX strategies to ensure the art of the possible design guidelines implementations. Create and plan process improvement programs (BSF events) model to ensure Art of The possible or World Class manufacturing processes. Skills and Minimum Experience Required Extensive knowledge of Wave Solder Engineering processes. Deep understanding for all SMT related best practices and equipment. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with different Managers and Directors across all organization. Demonstrated ability to deliver effective coaching and train others, set the example for best practices for the process engineers. Passion for people and talent development programs.
