Querétaro,Querétaro,Mexico- +5 more- Job ID** **- Join our Team**About this opportunity**:Join our team at Ericsson as an Indirect Tax Compliance and Technology specialist. In this role, you will manage indirect tax compliance, manage indirect tax master data and support automation, process improvements and standardization within the area or indirect tax to ensure compliance, quality and efficiency in Ericsson Tax processes.**What you will do**:- Manage from end to end, indirect tax compliance for legal entities in scope.- Run indirect tax related reports, including country specific reports, and prepare data for analysis and indirect tax return- Analyze line items as per country indirect tax treatment.- Review vendor and customer invoices- Run indirect tax G/L balances, clear indirect tax accounts, perform reconciliations- Raise tickets to correct invoices- Compile indirect tax return and ensure that indirect tax return is signed and submitted- Prepare request for manual payment and send manual payment request for approval- Review Tax authority statements, reconcile Indirect tax accounts against- Tax statement.- Perform indirect tax closing activities (Certification, SOX controls, JV postings, etc.)- Perform root cause data analysis of inaccuracies in indirect tax reports and feedback/ collaborate with stakeholders/data owners to correct the faults- Prepare and maintain work instructions related to indirect tax compliance- Provide regular indirect tax training and support to relevant stakeholders and data owners.- Manage and improve indirect tax master data- Provide system VAT logic advice- Collaborate with stakeholders/data owners to correct the faults in tax master data- Provide system VAT logic advice- Provide Indirect Tax audit support- Support process improvements and automation- Actively participate in projects related to process, systems, and automation in area of indirect tax- Support in identifying, setting up and implementing new solution, tools, and functionality in tax compliance processes- Collaborate internally and with stakeholders to develop tax automation and functionality- Actively participate in initiatives and improvements related to process, systems, and automation in area of indirect tax- Support mitigation of tax risks- Perform indirect tax closing activities.- Perform indirect tax closing activities (Certification, SOX controls, JV postings, etc.)- Manage process related to reclaim foreign indirect tax on supplier invoices**The skills you bring**:- Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax law, data analytics or related field.- Appropriate relevant industry experience in data analytics, automation, ERP system set up, solution set up and design and software development.- Fluent English Communications skills.- Knowledge and experience in Indirect tax compliance- Knowledgeable and understanding of financial systems- Knowledgeable and understanding of data analytics and tools- Tax Advice.- Indirect Tax.- Tax Determination.- Tax Compliance.Personal Traits- Drive, Integrity, and Perspective- Result orientation, Analytical, Networking/Team player, Perseverance, Accurate, Proactive initiator, Communication & Influence skills, Leading and Supervising.**Why join Ericsson?**At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
