The Motherson Group is one of the 15 largest and fastest growing full system solutions providers to the global automotive industry, serving multiple further industries, such as rolling stock, aerospace, medical, IT, and logistics, with over 190,000 employees across 44 countries worldwide.Our facility located **in Puebla, MX**is looking for a highly motivated **IT Engineer**to join our team**Responsibilities**:- Ensure 24/7 availability, reliability, and stability of the production environment.- Maintain and support network and server infrastructure, as well as Just-in-Time Sequencing and Manufacturing systems; analyze event and performance data; and identify trends and growth requirements.- Assist in the root cause analysis, ensure contingencies are executed timely, and support the remediation.- Implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.- Resolve 1st level support problems and escalate appropriately within the Plant Team, corporate and external.- Support Coordinate with regional, corporate, and purchasing for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment, services & contracts.- Maintain detailed documentation and process definitions up to date within your area of responsibility.- Support & contribute to the design, development, and delivery of end-user training, and team members.- Performing risk analysis, identifying failure modes, and ensuring contingencies are in place.- Perform routine validation of high availability, redundancies, detection.- Manage all assigned projects to ensure they deliver the promised results within the agreed timelines and terms.- Ensure technology deliverables adhere to company and regulatory policies.- Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.**Profile**:- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.- 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.- Linux, Windows, and VMware.- Networking fundamentals and administration.- Ability to communicate effectively with L2 and L3 support, describing problems and following instructions provided.- Team & Client-oriented.
