A total number of 210+ employees (and increasing every day) from +34 different nationalities and with over 25 languages spoken.We promote an open minded environment and encourage our employees to create their own success story in this high performance environment.Job DescriptionAs our **Engineering Manager,** you'll be managing the development of scalable SaaS products, lead high performance distributed teams and improve the way our engineering team operates. You will ensure the team’s technical plans are well reasoned and future-proof and be a clear leader of our scaling strategyYou will have the opportunity to:- Manage a team of diverse engineers including Software Engineers, Sr. Software Engineers, QA Engineers), including providing the technical direction, task allocation and code reviews.- Work closely with the Product Management team to ensure we're building products that deliver quality and value to our clients.- Work closely with team to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment- Be a key player is cross-functional communication- Participate in hiring different roles required in the team**Location**: Hybrid setup in our Guadalajara office, Mexico.Qualifications**What You Need to Succeed**:- Should have worked in cross functional teams (product management, development, QA, sales, customers), should be able understand team dynamics and priorities of each functional stakeholder and work with them to meet project goals- Comfortable guiding teams in an Agile environment- Ability to resolve conflicts and gain consensus in cross functional teams- Adaptable to changing business requirements and priorities- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build effective teams and to motivate, direct and coach team members; ability to manage multi-site teams- Software product development experience, and hands on technical work with full life cycle implementations- Strong Java, Database fundamentals.Any previous work with AWS, Springboot, ReactJS, Postgres would be an added bonus.Additional Information**Benefits**:- 30 Aguinaldo days- 25% Holiday bonus- Food Vouchers (1050 MXN/month)- Savings Fund (5% contributions from Employer and 5% from Employee)- 25 vacation days (from day one) + 7 extra bank holidays- Major medical insurance, Vision and Dental (Extended to spouse and children)- 12 Weeks Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave- Social security based on 100% payroll- Flexible Work from Home policy - 2 days home p/w- Flexible Work from Long Distance - 4 weeks a year- Modern office with free drinks and snacks (flexible dress code)Stay connected with us on LinkedIn or keep an eye on our career page for future opportunitiesStay connected with us on LinkedIn or keep an eye on our career page for future opportunities
