Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.About the role:End User Computing (EUC) Engineer level III works with business clients, IT departments, and vendors to maintain the end user technology stack specifically Microsoft Endpoint Management Configuration Manager (MEMCM/SCCM), Group Policy, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Windows Operating Systems, and mobile device management. EUC Engineers work with multiple administrative systems to maintain the integrity of the overall end user infrastructure as well as create and develop new solutions. An energetic, solution minded personality with drive, attention to details and excellent communication skills will be needed for success in this position.What you need:- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work- 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology and managing SCCM, Software packaging and scripting, Group Policy- 0-2 yeas of experience in virtual desktop infraestructure- Advanced knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory and Group Policy.- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.- Advanced knowledge of server and desktop hardware.- Knowledge of desktop and server virtualization technologies.- Knowledge of automation and scripting language.- Advanced understanding of IT Service Management tools, ServiceNow- Knowledge of the latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities- Knowledge of IT security processes and controls as well as IT infrastructure and networking technical knowledge- Knowledge of various protocols including and not limited to: HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, SSL, DNS, LAN, WAN, Routing, IP, DHCP- Knowledge of Cloud and Cloud technologies and capabilities- Ability to think strategically and make collaborative decisions- Advanced technical writing- Communicates quickly, clearly, concisely, appropriately and intelligently- Creative, Innovative, problem-solving and maximizing your potential to solve problems and improve methods- Advanced planning and time management- Experience in document creation and ITSM ticket management- Foster open communication, speaks with impact, listens to others and writes effectively.- Information security standards/frameworks (i.e., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO) skills.- Bilingual in English and SpanishWhat you will be doing:- Support and maintain the Global End User Computing (EUC) platforms ensuring high performance and reliability- Plan, architect, design, document and implement EUC platforms, operating system, enterprise software, and peripheral upgrades to improve services provided to business clients- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements to existing processes and for automation- Perform or assist with routine EUC administration tasks, as necessary, to assure the reliable operation of the global end user computing platforms, including routine operations system and software updates- Work ticketing queues to provide timely resolution for end users and document all work- Perform root cause analysis as needed for end user related issues- Perform critical system changes after business hours and participate in an on-call support rotation for providing after-hours support- Author policy, procedure and standards documents- Effectively communicates current status of all projects, problems, and issues to the department Manager or AVP- Study and analyze the performance and capacities of EUC systems to prepare plans for future expansion and upgrades- Participate in an on-call support rotation for providing after-hours support- Transfer knowledge via documentation and training to End User Computing operations teams- Perform other duties as assigned- Conform with all company policies and proceduresWhat we offer:At GM Financial we want you to be the most authentic version of yourself.
