FSCM SCM Solution Architect

Overview Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Solution Architect to join their award‑winning and growing team. The Dynamics 365 F&SCM Solution Architect carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting the customer requirements and completing the project. The Dynamics 365 F&SCM Solution Architect will be comfortable in all aspects of delivery. They must be capable of switching between supporting or leading customer facing functional workshops and a group of functional consultants and business analysts, supporting technical roles including interface design, data configuration and migration and development teams, either customer based or HCLTech centric onshore and off‑shore teams, working with project and program managers to effectively report on progress and risks and issues, to liaise with both internal and customer senior stakeholders, adjusting the approach and language as required for each interaction. The candidate must be extremely detail‑oriented, have the ability to multitask, be meticulously organized, and be able to prioritize multiple demands in a fast‑paced environment. This person will be a confident communicator and a good co‑ordinator while being able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. They will have experience of managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery. Roles And Responsibilities Drive quality and consistency within the company and champion the use of the Proven Process methodology. Ensure methodology is adhered to on all projects. Assume overall responsibility for solution design and architecture including clear visibility of transition from as‑is solution landscape to to‑be solution landscape through delivery and ownership of solution overview diagrams. Act as a functional lead across multiple functional streams and demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities. Lead functional workshops with customers, document requirements and design appropriate solutions. Own overall solution design. Work alongside an interface/integration lead and demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities. Lead functional elements of integration workshops with customers, document requirements and design appropriate solutions. Work alongside data migration lead and demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as technical capabilities. Lead functional elements of data migration workshops with customers, document requirements and design appropriate solutions. Own overall configuration and gold build of the solution being implemented. Advocate for adherence to standards and best practice. Understand capabilities of the functional and development team, providing support and assistance when needed. Work with customer and internal teams on solution, business and infrastructure architecture where required. Provide required functional, business and solution support to our customers during D365 F&SCM implementations and work with D365 CE Architects on hybrid / enterprise projects. Write and review high level and detailed solution architecture documentation per Proven Process methodology. Create solution and functional documentation for the project. Ensure all documentation required based on project commercials and Proven Process methodology is completed to required standards. Engage with test team to ensure the solution is tested thoroughly. Stay current on D365 F&SCM and related technologies, particularly Azure stack technologies that support the solution. Mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and experience to grow team experience and effectiveness. Be flexible with time and work in a process‑oriented environment. Excellent communicator with ability to operate within cross‑functional teams. Advise customers on best practices for D365 F&SCM processes, user interface and architecture. Work with the training team to deliver and create super users and end users training, as needed. Comfortable participating and leading pre‑sales engagements. Work effectively with the sales team on delivering tender response documents, estimates and customer demonstrations. Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including ability to drive a client to decisions. Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans; take personal ownership of the success of deliverables and projects). Provide weekly status reporting along with Technical Architect and Project Management. Skills And Experience Solid Microsoft platform software experience. Extensive experience as either a functional lead or solution with AX or D365 F&O. At least 5 end‑to‑end full life‑cycle implementations of AX or D365 F&O. Expert knowledge of SCM including stock, landed costs, freight and proven industry experience in a number of industry sectors. Experience in the use of Microsoft DevOps to manage project deliverables. Exposure to Visual Studio Team Services or other similar enterprise planning and delivery tools. Able to manage or lead multiple large projects (6‑24 months) with advanced organisational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Professional demeanor. Feels comfortable talking with clients at all levels within an organization. Balance short‑term demands while maintaining long‑term vision needed to guide a customer through implementation process. Exhibit HCLTech Guiding Principles. Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Visio. Ability to work remotely and on customer site. Regular travel expected. Qualifications MBA / M. Com / B. Com / B.Tech / B.E or any other equivalent graduation from a reputed university. MB-700 certification.
