Cisco Network Engineer L1As a Cisco Network Engineer at Level 1, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure. You’ll work closely with other team members to ensure seamless network operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.Responsibilities:- Network Configuration and Maintenance:- Configure and install various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.- Monitor network performance and security to identify and resolve issues promptly.- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:- Analyze existing hardware, software, and networking systems.- Test and troubleshoot installed Cisco Systems.- Resolve technical issues related to networks, hardware, and software.- Scalable Network Implementation:- Create and implement scalable Cisco networks based on client specifications.- Ensure network scalability and reliability to accommodate future growth.- Speed and Security Testing:- Conduct speed tests to evaluate network performance.- Implement security measures to safeguard network integrity.Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Technical Skills:- Familiarity with Cisco networking products.- Basic understanding of LANs, WANs, and IP addressing.- Knowledge of routing and switching protocols.- Ability to work with routers, switches, and end devices.- Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues.
