Commercial Director

Responsible for Regional Customer accounts. This role directs and oversees the strategic account planning, acquisitions, customer relationship, profitability, and customer satisfaction for the assigned account(s).
Primary Accountabilities:- Strategic account planning: Developing customer roadmap strategy, defining strategic priorities, and setting acquisition targets in each region.
- Management of acquisitions: Definition of technical and commercial offer and quote approval in the U.S. region.
- Sales growth: Generating sales growth and new business opportunities with customer account(s) and end market.
- Customer relationship management: Managing the customer relationship through proper interfaces according to the customer organization and decision process.
- Customer satisfaction: Measured through the appropriate metrics.
- Functional strategies: Assists in creating functional strategies and specific objectives to support the functional infrastructure.
- Policy adherence: Ensures adherence to the organization’s Sales policies and procedures.
- Budget development: Develops budget for the customer account(s).
- Cross-functional collaboration: Works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing internally as well as with the same Customer functions.
- Commercial agreements negotiation: Negotiate commercial agreements/contracts with customers that are beneficial to the Company.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field required.
- MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of Commercial experience in Automotive, Commercial Vehicle, Agriculture, Construction, Powersports, and/or Industrial field.
- 8+ years of managerial experience required.
- Customer-facing experience preferred.
- Product/Process design and development knowledge.
- Exhaust or Powertrain systems understanding.
- Tier 1 parts experience a strong plus (Sales, Engineering, Program Management).
- Ownership of all financial aspects of their account(s).
- Strategic thinker with high business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to grow the business relationship with the customer.
