Write the next chapter of your ABB story.**:**This position reports to**:Production Engineering Manager**Your role and responsibilities**:In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for: - Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements. - Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project. - Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources. - Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.**Qualifications for the role**:- Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or similar engineering.- 5+ years of experience in similar positions.- 100% focused on new production lines; launching new production lines.- Experience in saving projects in terms of finding projects that standardize raw materials, lower prices.- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.- Knowledge in design software like AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar.- Experience leading work teams.- Knowledge in SAP.- Knowledge in electrical market.- Advanced English Level.**What's in it for you?**:- Enjoy a supportive and solution driven team environment- Bring your knowledge and expertise, make the difference in technology- Feel empowered: take ownership and drive exciting results in your scope of action**Benefits**:- Retirement plan- Life insurance- Accident insurance- Paid and Unpaid leave opportunities- Wellbeing program- Dental insurance.- Flex days.- Employee Assistance Program (PAE).- Development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF).**More about us**:
