Warehouse Manager

**Logistics at full potential**To support the expansion of our customer’s operations we are looking for a New Warehouse Manager to reinforcethe OPS team within our platform. Together with our customer we strive to make this a world class leading logistics operation. Are you the Warehouse Manager with the drive, enthusiasm, people and customer focus that we need in order to run our new operation?**What you do on a typical day**As WHM you will be responsible for overseeing a warehouse department and serve as point of contact for our Customer and XPO Operations regarding operational processes and systems. You will also provide support to the management team by supervising, coordinating, and organizing their teams (TeamLeaders/ coordinators/ operators/ temps) to accomplish assigned tasks, ensuring correct production in terms of time as well as managing the Warehouse operational, achieving the KPI targets and hitting the SLA’s to effectively meet and exceed customer expectations.Other responsibilities:- Planning the weekly workload, establishing priorities to achieve the set goals- Organization to ensure that the process runs smoothly and in accordance with KPI's- Provide training and assessments to their teams. Performance evaluations- Ensure compliance with the rates and set up any corrective actions that may be required- Analyse and coordinate procedures between areas and departments- Ensure compliance with internal safety regulations AEO and those from ORP - OSHAS- Report to the Ops manager I- Ability to represent XPO Logistics towards our customer on their demands and opportunities to support their business- Bring value to our customer with pro-active initiatives and process improvements with the aim to increase quality, safety, inventory, and lead-time- Focus on continuous improvement techniques, quality / ISO management processes, productivity improvement and cost control within the operations- Resolve issues, determine root cause, and implement solutions- Supervises and develops staff and otherwise carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable law**What you need to succeed at GXO**- Bachelor’s degree/HBO in related fields will be preferred- Pro-active, motivated and stress resistant- Min 2 years of experience in the Logistic sector, preferably in warehousing- Leadership & coaching experience > 3 years > 40 FTE- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English- Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish is an advantage- Preferably with Advanced level of visual basic, flexibility, proactiveness and initiative- Clear and direct communication skills- Pro-active, solution driven approach- A people-oriented management style, ability to motivate and drive the best possible performance- Ability to prioritize projects vs operational needs- LEAN/ 5S / Six Sigma qualifications are a pro- Flexibility - this is not always a 9-5 environment- Ability to work effectively under pressure**What we offer you**- Competitive salary- A dynamic and growing organization, with lots of space for personal input and development- Enterprising, open and informal organizational culture- A function with a lot of responsibilities and variety, no single day is the same- A highly motivated team on site with ambitions to grow and improve every single day**Unlock the potential of your future****Your work environment**Working at GXO Logistics means working in a dynamic and international organization.
