About The Role As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will lead advanced software development and implementation. You will provide input to project plans and schedules, translate user requests into effective solutions, and contribute to strategic direction and executive business plans. This role significantly contributes to achieving organizational objectives through complex research, design, and software development tasks. Responsibilities Perform complex research, design, and software development tasks within a software functional area or product line such as Lexis+ AI. Write and review detailed specifications for complex system components. Complete complex bug fixes and resolve technical issues as necessary. Understand and translate complex product requirements into software designs. Implement development processes, coding best practices, and conduct code reviews. Design and work with complex data models. Keep abreast of new technology developments and interface with other technical personnel to finalize requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrate a deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Expertise in .NET (C#). Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular or React is advantageous. Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Kanban and Scrum) and test-driven development. Ability to design and work with complex data models. Ability to lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs. Capability to prioritize and reprioritize projects and manage projects of varying sizes and complexity. Fluent in English and Spanish.
