Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job SummaryJob summary:To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Buyer Indiirect located in Guadalajara North Campus.Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Indirect, the Buyer Indirect will be Responsible for coordinates activities involved with procuring indirect materials, components and equipment.What a typical day looks like:- Reviews requisitions and ROP output.- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.- Determines method of procurement such as indirect purchase.- Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and output.- Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery and inventories.- Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate.- Approves invoices for payment.- Expedites delivery of goods to users.- Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management.- May gather quotations, examine bids, negotiate contracts and make awards.- Monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle.- Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price.- Makes tactical buying decisions.- Conducts quarterly supplier reviews.- Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics.- Prepares and/or reviews bid requests and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- Bachelor’s degree.- Experience in the procurement of indirect materials.- Indispensable advanced experience in a similar position within the electronic industry.- Bilingual.- Has made initial contact with suppliers and supplier development.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain
