Quality Assurance Leader - Business Unit Join to apply for the Quality Assurance Leader - Business Unit role at Mondelēz International. You manage technical and scientific professionals responsible for initiation and execution of programs. This is a leadership role in cross‑functional teams and regularly interacts with RDQ and senior management. How You Will Contribute You will lead regional and sub‑regional teams to deliver on the quality strategy, providing sufficient resources and expertise to appropriate functions and locations. You will manage, lead, coach and develop a team of quality experts, ensure compliance with Mondelēz policies, regulations and industry requirements, develop and report quality KPIs, facilitate quality communities of practice, represent the quality function at R&D meetings, identify quality enhancements, partner with technical groups, and manage special situations and early warnings. What You Will Bring Relevant experience in operations, quality and/or R&D Project management and managing multiple priorities Understanding of the commercial strategy process, product/package development process, food safety, plant commercialization, ingredient and package technology, coaching, and training in technical material Communication skills and leading cross‑functional teams Statistical process control and problem‑solving techniques Working with third‑party manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance Working with customers on quality related issues Working with service‑vendor technical equipment to support compliance Key Responsibilities Collaborate with policy development and with the introduction, maintenance and continuous improvement of Quality practices across the organization. Contribute to the execution of Quality strategies and programs cross‑category in the Business Unit. Act as part of the Special Situations Management Team (SSMT). Leverage Center Quality resources in Food Safety, Sanitation, Audit and Supplier Quality. Work with BU and Region Quality Leaders to ensure robust pipeline of talent. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and customers at BU level. Collaborate in the BU Commercial Quality priorities. Job Specific Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering or related field. Experience in Quality, Supply Chain and R&D (minimum 10 years). Knowledge of quality systems and policies, HACCP, ISO 9001/22000, L6S (minimum 5 years). Experience leading and working with cross‑functional teams with strong people‑development skills (minimum 3 years). Practical experience in Food and/or Beverage categories, preferably high‑risk products. Business Unit Summary Mondelez México has been in the country since 1927 and currently employs 6,000 people. Portfolio includes Trident, Oreo, Philadelphia, Clorets, Bubbaloo, etc. We are leaders in cream cheese, powdered beverages and confections.
