We therefore partner closely with all areas of the business, including HRIS, Finance, Recruitment, T&E, Procurement, and more.As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the support, management, and implementation of network services, including customer-facing services for NielsenIQ. We are looking for an in-depth understanding of network engineering, implementation, and 24/7 operations and support. The role is part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced organization, requiring customer and business focus and demonstrated skills/experience associated with leadership, management, and technology.**Job Description**:**What you’ll do**- Responsible for managing the Network, Security, and Voice Services to support customer needs.- Troubleshoots and resolves complex network problems while meeting service level agreements with customers.- Ability to work flexible hours and be accessible 24/7 and provide oncall support- Analyze network logs and perform debugging of network system issues.- Participates in major network installations and upgrades.- Drive support for technical services and strategies that provide NielsenIQ with highly reliable, secure, flexible and cost effective networking services.**Qualifications**:**We’re looking for people who have**- 5+ years supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.- Extensive Cisco routing and switching experience, including BGP and OSPF.- Experience working with Cisco routers, Nexus switches, F5 load-balancers, Checkpoint firewalls (education and certification may substitute for years of work experience).- Experience with network management and monitoring tools.- 2+ years’ experience with telecommunications technologies working with various types of circuits and equipment- Experience building Firewall policies, rules, and all related configurations for Checkpoint Firewalls and Cisco ASA’s.- Experience building and troubleshooting Site-to-Site Tunnels on Checkpoint Firewalls.- Proven ability to plan, implement and manage networks that ensure high availability, scalability, security and operational supportability within a high-volume, rapidly growing digital business.- Ability to analyze TCP Dumps / Packet Captures using Wireshark.- Experience deploying Cisco SD-WAN and Thousands Eyes.- Working experience deploying and troubleshooting Cisco ACI.- Experience working successfully and partnering with team members across various business units, functions and geographies.- Knowledge of how to maintain a data center, including but not limited to documentation management, equipment installation, work with structured cabling systems, maintenance procedures, best practices, and troubleshoot cable plant issues.- Ability to function effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change and conflicting customer demands and crisis management.- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field a plus, or related work experience- Cisco CCNA Required and ITIL preferredAdditional Information**About NIQ**NIQ, the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, reveals new pathways to growth for retailers and consumer goods manufacturers.
