We are looking for people like you who enjoy working flexibly from home, joining dynamic and challenging digital projects, and embracing our open and diverse culture.**Role Description**As a Base22 Salesforce Senior Developer, you will work with stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts to analyze business requirements and translate them into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform. Design, develop, test, document, and maintain solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform. As a Senior Developer, you will also assist in leading the project workstreams from design through testing and go-live. You will also assist in the estimation of work effort, resource plan, and schedule of projects as well as mentor junior developers.**This is a full-time remote position located in Mexico and US****Responsibilities and Duties**- Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used by the clients.- Stay up to date with new features and versions.- Meet with technical leads and developers to define and share best practices, guidelines, lessons learned, quality standards, and opportunities to leverage work.- Review and approve technical designs created by other technical leads.- Support and collaborate with other technical leads in decisions within a project.- Mentor team members that want to grow into senior developers or technical leads.- Support in the interview process for the new developers.- Research and keep current on Salesforce technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership- Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment- Design and execute functional tests ensuring usability and functionality.- Write technical and functional documentation.- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on industry best practices and business requirements (SaaS)- Translate business process flows into Salesforce technical design in collaboration with Salesforce and enterprise architects.- Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in Salesforce platform- Develop Lightning Web Component and Apex based solutions- Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues- Perform Salesforce administration and development- Ability to support Salesforce configuration tasks- Research, troubleshoot, and fix integration issues**Required Experience and Skills**- Experience delivering Salesforce projects from start to finish, following Agile and waterfall methodologies.- Experience with Lightning Components, Design System, APEX Classes, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Approval Processes, Aura, and Flow.- Experience with database design concepts and use of SOQL, SOSL, and SQL.- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML, WSDL, and CSS.- Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk).- Experience working with Salesforce Security configuration and user management.- Experience deploying Salesforce solutions- Experience with release management, code versioning, and repositories using GIT, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD and automated deployment tools.- Experience leading, mentoring, and overseeing the work of junior developers- Experience declarative configuration, Apex development, and Lightning development.- Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer II, and Salesforce Administrator- Experience in the public sector is a plus.- Experience estimating new features and enhancements.- Big picture and critical thinking.
